Certainly Makin' The Grade

Aug 31, 2017

It was a nice day at Murray Bridge for us yesterday with four runners resulting in two winners and two close thirds.

Firstly, Makin' The Grade (pictured) who is a son of I Am Invincible was dominant in his debut win at only his second start. He sat just behind the leaders and had the race won a fair way out but was still a little wayward and green up the straight. He now heads to the paddock for a little freshen up before returning over the summer months.

Gronky won the last race courtesy of a peach of a ride from stable rider Joe Bowditch. he was buried away worse than midfield and burst through late to score. It was impressive from this horse who has failed to have consistency in his racing pattern. Hopefully he can now turn the corner.
